Ms Krusty

Ms Krusty is the Dance Director of Star Dance Academy Picton, a school that was formed and created by Ms Krusty's own desire and initative, Ms Krusty originates from Star Groovetown - Blenheim, where she is the assistant director with Mr Stayz, Ms Krusty is the most decorated Star Lit Leader who has moved on to be one of our most valued staff members. Ms Krusty is one of our most experienced event orgainisers, DJ, and show directors.

Ms Jessica - JT

Ms JT was the second most shy timid and frightened Star Dance Academy student in the history of Star. From shy humble beginings she has proven herself to be an incredible leader, dance teacher and motivator. Ms JT also dances with the Marlborough Dance Company, her experience through both dance schools has made her one of the most complete all round dancers in Star Dance Academy. Her ability to understand different dance genre and musically is next to none.

Ms Tara

Ms TJ was the most shy, timid and frightened Star Dance Academy student in the history of Star Dance Academy. It has been a pleasure as her dance teacher to see her make a choice to be a confident and amazing dancer. Ms TJ also dances with the Malborough Dance Company in Blenheim. Ms TJ and JT are partners in dance and their friendship and support of one another, both on and off the dance floor is a testement to what a true Star Dance friendship is.

Ms Chloe

Ms Chloe is the Star Dance Assistant Director of Nelson. Ms Chloe along with Mr Ian have been a part of both DHS Hip Hop Salsa Crew Nelson and Star Dance Academy from the beginning. Due to commitments Ms Chloe focused on her staff role at Star Dance Academy and her personal development of her Salsa. This saw her winning both the under one year and over one year plus team competition at the South Island Salsa Championships. Ms Chloe's unique understanding of body movement and isolation has seen her perform both nationally and internationally. She has now successfully cheographed the exciting sequel for the Sister's of Salsa NZ Team.

Mr Alex

Mr Alex is the voice of Star. Inspired by his younger brother, Mr Jake, Mr Alex joined Star Dance Academy and danced his way from student to leader, leader to staff. Alex's experience in the performing arts has proved invaluable to his leadership on the dance floor. Mr Alex's flare and Krumping, popping and locking and body isolations is incredible. His leadership both off and on the dance floor both shines through and his personal character and charm. Mr Alex is also passionate about his Church and beliefs.

Mr Dylan

Mr Dylan is somewhat the protégé of Mr Ian. Also inspired by Darney and the amazing DHS Hip Hop Salsa crew. Mr Dylan's youthful presence on the dance floor disguises his amazing talent and experience in teaching and helping others. Mr Dylan is a valued staff member and support to both Mr Alex and Mr Stayz in providing the Dream It Dance It Do It attitude in Mo town, commonly known as MOT.

Ms Tim Tam

Ms Tim Tam has worked over the past two years along side Ms J- Star and Ms Krusty in learning the techniques and skills to run a successful dance school. Along with her many years of experience in leading Girl Guides in Blenheim. This combined experience has enabled her to easily transition into the role of a senior Star Dance Director at Star Dance Renwick.

Ms Brittz

Ms Brittz is the baby of the Star Dance Academy Staff Team. Not to let this fool you Ms Brittz is the most powerful and exciting dancer to grace the dance floor that Mr Stayz has seen in many years. Ms Brittz has been compared to the legendary Ms Pauline and Ms Catherine combined. With both NZ Youth Salsa Team and Annie's Dance Cup led victories she has proven herself to be worth her weight in gold. In Mr Stayz's words: "she's Star Dance's Academy's Golden Goose"

Mr Stayz, Ms Larissa, Baby Ocean

Star Groovetown Blenheim is run and directed by Mr Stayz, it's here at Groovetown Blenheim, (the largest Star Dance Academy in NZ) that future staff are trained grown and nutured through the Star Lit - Leader's in Training programme.Staff such as Ms J Star, Ms Krusty, Ms JT, Ms TJ, Ms Tim Tam, Ms Brittz have successfully graduated to becoming truely valued S*DA staff here at the Groove.Future upcoming SuperStars such as Ms Jaz, Ms Jess, Ms Sammy are currently training under the supportive (ruthless!!) instruction of Mr Stayz...to follow in their dancing footsteps.The Groove is the heart and the hub of Star Dance Academy.
